The Amsterdam cowl is a soft, big and warm cowl that keeps your neck warm and cosy on colder days. It is made of knit and purl stitches. The cowl is worked with 9 mm (US 13) (circular) needles and knitted in the round.
The neck warmer looks chic because of the simple design.
Finished measurements: 23 cm / 9 inches in length. Circumference: about 70 cm / 27,5 inches. Difficult level: beginner. Skills required/ technique used: knit & purl, cast-on, bind off. Materials: the cowl is made with Drops Snow/ Eskimo (color: 93) (100 - 150 meters, 2 to 3 skeins of yarn). Gauge/ needles: 9 mm (US 11): 11 sts x 18 rows = 10 cm (4 inches) in K3 - P2. Sizes: one size.
