Madrid hat pattern in English

The Madrid hat is a soft and warm hat. It is made of knit and purl stitches. The Madrid hat is a classic beanie made with 5 mm (US 8) needles and the hat is knitted from bottom to top.
To make the brim of the hat you use the technique double knitting. The hat is knitted in the round.The hat looks chic because of the simple design.
Finished measurements: 22 cm / 8,7 inches in length.
Circumference: about 54 cm / 21,3 inches.
Difficult level: Advanced knitter.
Skills required/ technique used: knit & purl, double knitting, cast-on, bind off and cable knitting.
Materials: the hat is made with Adriafil Abracadabra (color: 28) (175 meters, 1 skein of yarn).
Gauge/ needles: 5 mm (US 8): 18 sts x 21 rows = 10 cm (4 inches) in double knitting.Sizes: one size.
