Rivièratop (pattern in English)

The Rivièratop is a simple lace knit. The top is knit in the round from the bottom-up in stockinette stitch. First you work 2x2 rib stitch at the bottom of the top. After that you knit in stockinette stitch and in the middle of the top you knit the flower lace pattern.
 
This is a lace pattern especially for beginners. You finish the top with i-cord straps, which are sewn together with the Kitchener stitch at the shoulders.

The Rivièratop is perfect for wearing during a sunny vacation. You can also wear the top to your work with a nice jacket.
 
Sizes
Small S, medium (M) and large L

Measurements:
Length, measured from the armhole: 31 (31) 31 cm / 12.2 (12.2) 12.2 inches. Total length (without the I-cord straps): 45 (46) 48 cm / 17.7 (18.1) 18.9 inches.
 
The sizes S (M) L are intended to fit a bust measurements of approximately 85 - 90 (90 - 95) 95 - 100 cm. You can also choose for a short and long length (see pattern)

Circumference: 80 (90) 100 cm / 31.4 (35.4) 39.3 inches

Recommended needles: 6 mm (US size 11 and 10)/ 100 and 80 cm (31.5 inches and 23.5 inches) and 6 mm double pointed needles

Gauge: 16 stitches x 21 rows in stockinette stitch (10 cm / 3.9 inches)

Suggested yarn: Small and medium: 200 gr. 100% cotton 8/4 (50 gram = 160 m) from Søstrene Grene colour white and 100 gr. 100% cotton 8/4 (50 gram = 160 m) from Søstrene Grene colour navy blue. You knit with two strands of yarn together
Large: 300 gr. 100% cotton 8/4 (50 gram = 160 m) from Søstrene Grene colour white and 100 gr. 100% cotton 8/4 (50 gram = 160 m) from Søstrene Grene colour navy blue. You knit with two strands of yarn together.
